Por Fin, Llegamos!!

Well, it was quite the trip but we made it to Monterrey. Yesterday was a long day of driving to San Antonio, about 15 hours in the car. We left for Monterrey this morning at around 10am... it took us a couple of hours to get to the border and then about an hour to get our tourist visas and vehicle permit. Another couple of hours and we hit Monterrey just in time for trafico. Holy cow. This is the first time I've had to drive in a foreign country (Canada doesn't count) and it has been quite the experience so far. Here all of the rules go out the window with your patience. Actually there is one rule: Watch your butt. Between me trying to avoid a wreck and Breena holding on for dear life, we kinda got lost and had to call Leslie and Alex to come save us. We'll be staying at their cute little house for a night or two until we find our own place.

We're tired, but we're having a great time. It's really pretty here, especially the mountains. We'll try to take some pics and post them soon!!
