Tim woke me up yesterday with the news that a Shaq-Marion trade was in the works. You all know that I don't really function before noon, so I just kind of ignored him thinking I was delirious and misheard.
No, I heard him right. The deal was finalized last night and now my all-time favorite Sun, Marion, is packing his bags for Miami and the Diesel is getting comfy with MY team.
I have all of this leftover Shaq angst from my days living in LA bubbling to the surface. I'm not sure how I'll react when I see him in a Suns uniform. Let's just hope this trade jumpstarts the ancient diesel and that he can actually do something to help the Suns.
Steve Kerr is not my favorite person right now.
