Date, Time, and Currency Please

Okay... we have some serious catching up to do. So much has happened in the past couple of weeks that it's going to take some time to update everything. Please accept our apology for not getting more pictures and updates posted... we have a good excuse, I promise!!

In the past two weeks, we have:

• Lived in/visited 5 different countries (Mexico, U.S., U.K., Czech Republic, Germany... and almost Austria, but probably going this weekend).
• Spent at least 12 hours in 8 different cities (Monterrey, El Paso, Phoenix, London, Prague, Celakovice, Munich, and Fussen).
• Used 5 different currencies. Currently, it is roughly 10.5 pesos/$, 0.50 pounds/$, 16 korunas/$, and 0.65 euros/$. (Any time you need a currency converter, just call me. And if you didn't think the dollar was in bad shape, the koruna has appreciated .5 per dollar since we got here a week ago).

I was going to try and calculate our mileage in the past 14 days, but why bother. I have 3 clocks on my computer desktop and all three of them say different things. What's worse, daylight savings just messes everything up even more. A week before we left Monterrey, the U.S. had this new daylight savings time. Mexico apparently doesn't do it the same way. So when we drove home and crossed the "north" border into Texas, we jumped ahead an hour, then when back two hours when we got to Arizona the following day. Say what you want about Arizona, but at least they have the brains to leave the blasted clock alone. So then we flew direct to London which was 7 hours ahead of Arizona, flew to Prague 2 days later which was an additional hour ahead of London, and then Europe recongnized daylight savings the old U.S. way which meant that we jumped ahead another hour this past weekend. Arrrghh.

In the midst of all this, I've been finishing mid-term exams and just began a new round of courses last week. But you know, we're having a great time...
